BOARD BRIEFS
We’re off to a great start this season, and we don’t mean the water level. Word has it that it will go down… eventually!
The first Board Meeting of the new season was held on Saturday, May 9. Several actions were taken:
* A front blade for the John Deere tractor will be purchased to make grading and plowing the road more efficient.
* A DUMPSTER FOR SPRING CLEANING is being ordered next week and will be in the park for one month. Look for it up near the pumpers since the parking lots are full of things normally stored in the meadow.
* Wireless internet service will be installed for a one-year trial period sometime before Memorial Weekend. Anyone with a wireless computer will be able to access the internet from the office/pavilion area. Doug Elkins is handling the hookup with TDS.
* Everyone will need to have their golf cart(s) inspected again this year. We want our park to be as safe as possible. Two opportunities for inspections will be set up. Watch the information board for dates and
times. If you are interested in helping, please contact Doug Elkins, Lot 100. REMINDERS…
* Anyone with an electrical problem involving the outside pedestal/post should contact the MANAGER. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIX IT YOURSELF!! THIS INCLUDES THE GATE. An inexperienced “electrician” could cost all of us a great deal of money.
* We are aware that it is an inconvenience when the meadow is flooded: however, you CANNOT PUT YARD WASTE IN THE DUMPSTERS. When the flood is over, you can once again add to the burn pile. Remember… only yard waste… no garbage or plastic.
MEMORIAL WEEKEND…
Saturday, May 23 – Continental Breakfast 10:00 A.M.

NOTE: Have you thanked our new manager yet? He has worked hard to make our park something to be proud of. Thank you, John!
